Long-term financing of the Bogotá-Girardot highway awarded by LatinFinance

Via 40 Express, subsidiary of VINCI Highway, concessionaire of the Bogota-Girardot highway, has today received two major awards by LatinFinance, the leading news platform about infrastructure financing in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The “Road Financing of the Year” and “Infrastructure Financing of the Year, Andes” highlight the successful completion, in April 2023, of the long-term financing of the Bogota-Girardot highway concession. Amounting to 2,675 billion Colombian pesos (€535 million), it stands as one of the most significant operations ever achieved within the framework of Colombia 4G program.
The Bogotá-Girardot highway is the country’s busiest road, stretching from the Pacific coast to the centre of the capital city. Via 40 Express is currently delivering a large renovation and extension program, including the construction of a third lane, through a 30-year concession contract.
